Need a really good basic vinaigrette recipe that goes with just about everything? This is it! I’ve tried lots of recipes over the years, but this classic has remained my go-to. It’s super simple to whip up and makes every salad delicious! It’s even great drizzled on roasted veggies. If you try it, I’d love to hear what you think!
Super Simple Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients
1/2 cup good-quality balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup organic, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp wholegrain, brown or German mustard
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Directions
• Place all ingredients in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

• Shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds until emulsified.
Tips
• If you just want to make one serving, drizzle one TBSP each of vinegar and oil, about 1/8 tsp mustard, a small pinch of sea salt and pepper and mix it up.

• For a healthier dressing, replace some of the balsamic vinegar with Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Its flavor is very strong, so start with one teaspoon and see what you think.
