Ready to take your smoothies up a notch?? Try eating it instead!!

Yes, smoothie bowls take a bit more time to make, but I have to admit they’re WAY more fun and satisfying to eat!

You just have to use as little liquid as possible to keep it thick (I used way too much liquid on this one!) and keep pushing the frozen fruit down into the blender blade. Consider it a mini workout for you and your blender! 😉

Here’s my go-to smoothie bowl recipe. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Very Berry Smoothie Bowl ❤️

Smoothie Bowl
•1/4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut (plus more as needed to blend)
•1-1/2 cup frozen berries
•1 small frozen banana, broken in pieces
•1 scoop of protein powder, plain or vanilla
•1 tsp flax meal
•1 scoop of greens powder

Toppings
•1 TBSP chia seeds
•1 TBSP hemps seeds
•1 TBSP shredded unsweetened coconut
•Raw nuts
•Fresh fruit or frozen blueberries

Directions
1. Add frozen berries and banana to blender and blend on low to break it down into small pieces.

2. Add 2 TBSP of almond milk and protein powder and blend on low again, scraping down the sides as needed.

3. Continue blending (only adding a small amount of liquid if absolutely needed) until it becomes a soft-serve consistency.

4. Pour into 1-2 bowls and add your toppings. 😋
